“The horses of Narragansett” is a comic I did several years ago. Looking ack on it feels curious, but good. A lot of things have changed for me and i changed myself a lot things. The drawing style, for example. At the present I work with watercolors and smooth, color pencil outlines.
The Horses of Narragansett was made as classical comic, with black ink outlines and solid panels.
The Horses of Narragansett is one of four Album lenght White House Tales I did. And it is up bto this day my favorite. I went into depth, both as for the research about the Narragansett pacer Horse breed as well as for Cuba.
Because even tough the whole story is settled in an alternate universe, it breathes some truth.
The Horses of Narragnsett is still a very good read and therefore I believe it is worth being published again. Thanks to Art of Webcomic for providing this wonderful platform.
